The Pirelli Scorpion XC RH ProWALL is an ideal competition tyre for hard-packed mountain bike trails. With a very low tread, it minimises rolling resistance and, therefore, is one of the fastest MTB tyres on the market. Larger side knobs ensure reliable control in corners. The tyre is made specifically for demanding cross-country races, where the top teams trust Pirelli to give them the best rubber.
Race compound for maximum speed
Scorpion XC tyres use the Race compound, Pirelli's highest-performance compound that offers a perfect balance between grip, speed and puncture resistance. It is the result of extensive testing in the laboratory as well as the most prestigious races. Plus, Pirelli has optimised the tread to minimise rolling resistance.
ProWALL carcass
The ProWALL casing uses an extra layer of nylon, which means that this tyre is slightly heavier than the Lite version but offers better puncture protection. The stability of the tyre at lower tyre pressures is also improved.
